Rule No. 1
Present Indefinite Tense
Singular third-person Noun or Pronoun takes singular Verb

Examples:

In Affirmative sentences

1. A child wants new toys.
2. He wants to study literature.
3. She plays tennis.

In Negative sentences
Subject+ does not + 1st form of the Verb + Object

4. A child does not want new toys.
5. He does not want to study literature.
6. She does not play tennis.

In Interrogative sentences
Does + subject+ 1st form of the Verb+ Object?

7. Does a child want new toys?
8. Does he want to study literature?
9. Does she play tennis?

In Negative Interrogative sentences,
Does + subject+ not + 1st form of the Verb+ Object?

10. Does a child not want new toys?
11. Does he not want to study literature?
12. Does she not play tennis?

Rule No 2
Plural third-person Nouns or Pronouns take plural Verb

Examples:

In Affirmative sentences

1. Children want new toys.
2. They want to study literature.
3. They play tennis.

In Negative sentences
Subject+ do not + 1st form of the Verb + Object

4. Children do not want new toys.
5. They do not want to study literature.
6. They do not play tennis.

In Interrogative sentences
Do + Subject+ not+ 1st form of the Verb+ Object?

7. Do children want new toys?
8. Do they want to study literature?
9. Do they play tennis?

In Negative Interrogative sentences,
Do + Subject+ 1st form of the Verb+ Object?

10. Do children not want new toys?
11. Do they not want to study literature?
12. Do they not play tennis?

Adverbs: usually, frequently, every day, always, mostly etc.

Example of Present Tense 

Every person loves his country. Patriotism is an instinctive feeling. We love the place where we are born. It is our identification. It is a safe place for our children. We should love everything of it with our heart and soul. We should not hesitate to sacrifice our lives for the honour and glory of it. Patriotism is a part of belief. The lack of uniformity, national unity and solidarity is the biggest danger lying ahead of us.
